Democrats use our government as a get-rich-quick scheme. This has been going on for decades. Running the country honestly? No, that wasn’t a thing.

Recently a Democrat was caught committing all kinds of crime. He actually tried to get the charges thrown out.

But a federal judge just put him in his place.

A federal judge has denied the motion by a Maryland senator to dismiss portions of his federal bribery and obstruction of justice charges.

Sen. Nathaniel Thomas Oaks, D-Baltimore City, is accused of wire fraud, accepting illegal payments and accepting bribes in exchange for influencing business matters.

The Daily Record of Baltimore reports Oaks moved to dismiss the charge of honest services wire fraud and federal charges of receiving cash payments in violation of state bribery statutes.

U.S. District Judge Richard D. Bennett ruled Tuesday that the act in question was an “official act” as required by the charges. Oaks is accused of requesting draft legislation of a bond bill in exchange for a bribe.

Oaks’ trial begins next month.

This is what happens when we don’t hold our leaders accountable. They’ll say whatever we want to hear during an election. But behind closed doors they lie, cheat, and steal.

Democrats have abused their power again and again. They think they can get away with it. Often they do, thanks to the complicity of the media. Or they believe their “progressive” views makes them immune.

But those days are over. Liberals are being called out for their corruption. We are living in a different age. If you are a corrupt con arts, you will be found out.

Stories like this sound make every swamp dweller worry. Scum bags that abuse the system are getting punished. If someone used the government for ill gain, they will be charged. Perhaps sent to jail for along time.

All I can say is, Hillary and Obama should be getting worried.
