These days, there’s not much good coming out of the FBI. Numerous reports have shown the agency as being deeply corrupted. Its top officials have abused power to pursue political objectives. But, despite the deep hole the FBI has to dig itself out of, once in a while they do something good for America.
FBI Chief Chris Wray spoke before the Senate in a recent hearing. He sounded the alarm over a major crisis facing millions of Americans. This popular app could be the downfall of many. And Wray had no problem defying Joe Biden to call out his favorite buddies overseas.

FBI Director Chris Wray stunned U.S. senators during a Wednesday hearing when he revealed that the Chinese Communist Party has the ability to take control of “millions” of Americans’ phones through the wildly popular TikTok app.
“If you look at the Chinese government’s gobbling up of information and data, and then the use of AI and other tools, ultimately supercomputing, things like that, to marshal all that data to conduct targeting for espionage, targeting for IP theft, targeting for the all the things that I and others on this panel have been calling out about the Chinese government,” Wray told the Senate Intelligence Committee.
This is a pretty serious issue. Wray revealed that, through popular social app TikTok, the Chinese communist government can take control of millions of Americans’ phones. They have incredible access to users’ personal data. And thanks to the rapidly-growing power of AI and “supercomputing,” it would be an easy thing for China to cause tremendous damage to the United States.
Wray noted that China’s Equifax hack allowed them to steal the Personal Identifiable Information of nearly half the population of the U.S. That data includes Social Security Numbers, birth dates, addresses, and more. With that kind of data, there is little China can’t do.
Yet Joe Biden sits on his ass and does nothing. We’ve known for a long time that TikTok is extremely dangerous. Trump tried to ban it, but guess who overturned that rule? Numerous governors have banned the app on state devices.
But Democrats continue to turn a blind eye. Some of them even use the app, exposing their states to the prying eyes of China.
We have the head of the FBI, a man who has no loyalties to the Republican Party, warning the Senate on this issue. That should get everyone–liberals and conservatives–worried. This isn’t a political issue; this is a national security issue.
If Biden doesn’t do anything about this, after knowing of this danger… isn’t that tantamount to treason?
