Thanks to Joe Biden, the Department of Justice has become anything but. His attorney general has targeted parents over challenges to school boards. And the FBI has spent countless man-hours harassing a former president, raiding his home with armed agents.
But all the bad press has seemingly stirred up the agency. Maybe they realize they actually have to do their jobs upholding justice… or they won’t have jobs for much longer. Regardless of the reason, the FBI just announced a major bust. They arrested two individuals who planned to bring a major city to its knees.

The FBI and U.S. Attorney’s Office officials in Baltimore announced they had arrested two individuals, a man and a woman, with extremist views who were allegedly attempting to attack the power grid in Maryland…
Clendaniel allegedly told an FBI confidential source that she planned to target five substations including in Norrisville, Reisterstown and Perry Hall, according to an affidavit by Special Agent Patrick W. Straub.
So, it seems the FBI is very good at finding lone wolves that are crazy enough to think they can take down an entire city’s energy grid. According to reports, the FBI arrested a man and woman who allegedly wanted to destroy energy substations in the Baltimore area.
One of the people supposedly said she wanted to “completely destroy” the entire city. Their plan allegedly was to attack several substations, damaging them enough so that the city would lose power for an extended period of time.
If they had done this during a winter as harsh as this one, it could have led to many lost lives.
The FBI called this a “real threat” despite the fact this was being planned by only two people. But it is a reminder of how our power grid is under constant threat by domestic and foreign enemies. Not too long ago, hackers took down a pipeline that provided energy to much of the Southeast.
If law enforcement can’t work swiftly to confront these threats–preventing them before disaster strikes–millions of lives would be put into jeopardy. This time, the FBI managed to prevent a terrible criminal.
