The gloves are off my friends. It’s a new year. After a year of success, President Trump is not backing down. Big things are planned for 2018. This administration is not going to play soft any longer. Trump proved that with the very first tweet of the new year.
Trump’s first year was marked by big wins. But many goals were pushed aside or put on the back burner. That had to do with aids and GOP who were reluctant to move fast.
That’s not Trump’s style. He is a mover and shaker. He gets things done. So, in 2018, expect major developments. Very quickly.
His first tweet of the year was completely unexpected. President Trump focused his sights on a foreign country. A country that has been accepting U.S. aid for years. Yet they haven’t done much to help us.
That’s all about to change.
From The Hill:
President Trump blasted Pakistan in his first tweet of 2018, saying its leaders have given the U.S. “nothing but lies & deceit.”
“The United States has foolishly given Pakistan more than 33 billion dollars in aid over the last 15 years, and they have given us nothing but lies & deceit, thinking of our leaders as fools,” he said Monday morning.
“They give safe haven to the terrorists we hunt in Afghanistan, with little help. No more!” he added…
The New York Times reported late last week that the Trump administration might withhold $225 million in aid over frustration with Pakistan’s handling of terror networks.
Administration officials told the newspaper that a final decision is expected in the next few weeks…
U.S. officials have long accused Pakistan of being slow to stamp out terrorist groups within its borders…
Trump said then that Pakistan “gives safe haven to agents of chaos, violence and terror.” He also vowed the administration would be tougher on the country.
The United States has foolishly given Pakistan more than 33 billion dollars in aid over the last 15 years, and they have given us nothing but lies & deceit, thinking of our leaders as fools. They give safe haven to the terrorists we hunt in Afghanistan, with little help. No more!

I’m sure some of you were shocked to learn we give that much to Pakistan. Many Americans are wondering why we give out so much cash at all. Why do we give away taxpayer dollars and get so little in return?
Recent weeks have seen a large cut in our funding to the United Nations. But we are still giving them billions in support. That’s a fraction of the aid we are giving to Pakistan. A country that is slow to confront the growing problem of terrorism.
Pakistan has its own home-grown terrorists. Not to mention it is a haven for foreign agents. Remember where we found Osama bin Laden? Yep. Pakistan. How many more terrorists are hiding out there?
It’s only fair that our “allies” work with us. It is a crime that we are giving them so much money, when terrorists are protected. These are people who work night and day to enter the United States. Their only goal is to kill as many citizens as possible. You’d expect the Pakistani government do something about it. We are, after all, giving them billions in aid.
If they refuse to help, why should we? It’s insane to think we’d keep giving them cash. President Trump is merely echoing a sentiment shared by millions of Americans.
It’s time that the countries of the world started acting responsibly. The United States is not the planet’s dad. We can’t just give out money to countries that abuse or insult us.
2018 will be a big year. Nations will learn to start supporting themselves. It will be a year of accountability. And more success for America.
