Far-left Democrat Incites Violence Against Sen. Cruz, Gets Major Warning from AG Bondi

The party of peace and tolerance is at it again. You know the drill—Democrats spend every waking hour warning the country that Donald Trump is a “threat to democracy” and too “dangerous” for office. Meanwhile, their own representatives are out here suggesting Republican senators need to be physically assaulted. Make it make sense!

Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) has apparently decided that campaign knocking should be replaced with head knocking. In a recent interview discussing how Democrats can win in Texas, Crockett declared that Sen. Ted Cruz “has to be knocked over the head, like hard.” Nothing says “defending democracy” quite like advocating violence against elected officials you disagree with, right?

The backlash was swift and entirely justified. The White House’s “Rapid Response 47” X account called Crockett “another unhinged Democrat inciting violence,” sharing the shocking clip for all to see.

From ‘Fox News’:
“I think that you punch, I think you punch, I think you OK with punching,” Crockett said. “It’s Ted Cruz. I mean, like this dude has to be knocked over the head, like hard, right? Like there is no niceties with him, like at all. Like you go clean off on him.”

Conservative social media personality Nick Sortor expressed legitimate concerns about the real-world impact of such inflammatory language. “They know what they’re doing. Mentally ill leftists take this as a call to action,” Sortor warned, highlighting the dangerous potential consequences of a congresswoman’s reckless remarks.

Not Her First Dance with Dangerous Discourse

If Crockett’s name sounds familiar, that’s because this isn’t her first time making headlines for all the wrong reasons. This is the same Democrat who recently claimed that illegal immigration isn’t actually a crime—apparently unaware of the word “illegal” in “illegal immigration.”

Just last week, Crockett found herself in hot water for saying during a “Tesla Takedown” online call that “all I want to see happen on my birthday is for Elon to be taken down.” That comment earned her a stern warning from Attorney General Pam Bondi to “tread very carefully” when it comes to making what could be interpreted as threats.

So much for learning her lesson. Crockett has insisted her calls to action are “nonviolent” and merely about figuratively “fighting” for democracy. Senator Ted Cruz responded to this claim with a perfect “Princess Bride” meme: “You keep using that word… I do not think it means what you think it means.”

When Heated Words Lead to Burning Cars

Crockett’s timing couldn’t be worse. Her violent rhetoric comes amid a spate of actual attacks, vandalism, and doxxing against Tesla owners and workers. In some disturbing cases, individuals have even set fire to Tesla vehicles.

Just last week, several vehicles at a Tesla service center in Las Vegas were set ablaze in what FBI Las Vegas Special Agent in Charge Spencer Evans said “certainly has some of the hallmarks” of a terrorist attack. The FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force is currently investigating the incident.

Senator Mike Lee (R-Utah) offered some common-sense advice in response to Crockett’s comments: “Pro tip: don’t say things like this, whether you’re in Congress or not.” Shocking that we’ve reached a point where elected officials need to be reminded not to suggest violence against their colleagues, but here we are.

When Democrats wonder why Americans increasingly see them as the party of lawlessness and disorder, perhaps they should look no further than representatives who casually suggest their political opponents need to be “knocked over the head” while claiming to stand against violence.

Key Takeaways:

  • Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) suggested Sen. Ted Cruz “has to be knocked over the head, like hard” while advocating that Democrats should “punch” their opponents.
  • This comes shortly after AG Pam Bondi warned Crockett to “tread very carefully” following her comments about wanting to see Elon Musk “taken down.”
  • While Democrats accuse Republicans of dangerous rhetoric, their own representatives are openly using violent language against elected officials they oppose.
