Things aren’t really great in the land of social media. Many, many people are closing their accounts. Studies are showing that too much social media is actually making people more depressed and anxious.
On top of that, major social networks are destroying their own communities. Ever since Donald Trump was elected President, social networks have gone to war with conservatives. Sites like YouTube and Twitter aggressively shadowban or block conservative users. They are frequently punished for sharing their views.
It’s particularly bad on Facebook. Once conservative pages and users had a massive reach. Facebook treated their content the same as everyone else’s. Today? Facebook goes out of its way to censor, silence, or bully conservatives. They claim our message of limited government and personal freedom is “hate speech.”
But guess what Facebook doesn’t call hate speech? The coordinated efforts by the Islamic State to train, recruit and guide terrorists in the United States. Because ISIS is pretty busy on Facebook and the site hasn’t done a thing to stop them.

Our analysis of online IS communities globally, regionally, and nationally suggests that IS’s online networks, in particular on Facebook, are growing and can be utilized to plan and direct terror attacks as well as mobilize foreign fighters for multiple areas of insurgency.
Secondly, IS’s presence on Facebook is pervasive and professionalized, contrary to the tech company’s rhetoric and efforts to convince the public, policymakers, and corporate advertisers from believing otherwise. Our findings illustrate that IS has developed a structured and deliberate strategy of using Facebook to radicalize, recruit, support, and terrorize individuals around the world.
We’re not talking about a few random terrorists posting messages in obscure corners on the site. This is a professional campaign by ISIS to spread their message to followers in the U.S. According to the report, ISIS’s presence on Facebook is “pervasive.” That means they’re everywhere. There is no way Facebook’s staff doesn’t know what ISIS is up to.
Yet, they’re not getting banned! Facebook is not shutting down terrorists’ accounts, groups, or pages. We’re not seeing them turn this evidence over to the FBI or intelligence agencies. Instead, the left-wing, limp-wristed commies that run the biggest social site on the planet are giving murderers a free pass.
Are they so afraid of being called Islamophobic, that they’d let ISIS conduct business on their site? Or is Zuckerberg pro-jihad? How can a site that is, right now, conducting an ad campaign about protecting its users, allow ISIS to develop a structured strategy to radicalize and recruit killers?
Let me let you in on a little secret: social networks see everything you do. Every comment, photo, and article you post is viewable by Facebook. They have a staff that monitors everything. (They even know what you do outside of their website.)
On top of that, they use software that scans every post for problem words. They do this to monitor “hate speech” but to also comply with laws and law enforcement. There is NO WAY Facebook doesn’t know what ISIS is up to.
But yet they do nothing.
Perhaps Zuckerberg needs to return to D.C. He’s got a lot more to answer for.
