With just one week to go before Election Day, we are in the final stretch of this race. Kamala Harris and Donald Trump appear to be neck and neck, with no clear frontrunner emerging.

Since the race is this tight, the smallest of things could make the difference when it comes to the outcome. That’s why it recently came as bad news to Harris when an ex-girlfriend of her husband, Doug Emhoff, came forward to claim that he slapped her across the face back in 2012.

One would think that in the wake of these allegations coming to light, Harris would be trying to hide Emhoff away as much as possible. Instead, he’s continued campaigning for her as if no past allegations about him had come to light.

It must be nice to have the support of the mainstream media!

On Monday, Emhoff gave a speech in the crucial swing state of Pennsylvania. There, he proceeded to launch a truly insane attack on Trump.

Reading from a Teleprompter, Emhoff began by claiming that Trump “unhinged and just un-American view of our fellow Americans.”

He continued by condemning what he called the “antisemitic and racist speeches [sic] at Trump’s rally in Madison Square Garden yesterday.” (He did not quote any; there were in fact no such speeches — only jokes told by a comedian at the start of the six-hour event, which was well-attended by Jews and Americans of all races.)

The Second Gentleman also warned that Trump would praise Nazis “behind closed doors.” He offered no evidence.

Democrats Are Getting Desperate 

As this race enters its final stages, Democrats have gone into such panic mode over Trump that they’ve resorted to accusing him of being a Nazi sympathizer. They’ve done this despite having no evidence to back this up. Instead, Democrats have such little respect for the intelligence of their own voters that they are assuming that they will just believe these claims and vote for Harris accordingly.

Unfortunately for them, however, the bulk of the American people aren’t as dumb as they think we are.

With the race as close as it is, a lot of it will likely be decided by Independent voters. These voters are sick of the left’s deranged attacks on Trump that have no basis in reality. Suggesting that Trump will be a president who secretly praises Nazis might just be enough to turn off enough Independent voters to swing this election in his favor.

Emhoff is also the last person who should be attacking anyone right now. Last week, an ex-girlfriend of his came forward to claim that he slapped her across the face back in 2012. Though she spoke on the condition of anonymity, the woman’s story was credible, as multiple friends of hers corroborated that she had told them of the incident at the time.

“In that moment, his mask had dropped and I saw his dark side,” she said of Emhoff.

Emhoff has denied ever slapping the woman. If he were a Republican, the mainstream media would be all over this story. Since he is a Democrat, however, it’s being swept under the rug.

Given the allegations that have been made against Emhoff, he’s likely doing more harm than good when he campaigns for his wife at this point. Here’s hoping he keeps it up and ends up costing Harris the election!
