Weeks Before Taking Office, Trump Makes Move to Communicate Directly to Citizens with New Newsletter

President-Elect Donald Trump is just a few weeks away from returning to the White House for the second time. Though he may not technically be president yet, Trump is already making moves to ensure that he will hit the ground running from day one of his presidency.

We are currently living in a time in which trust in the mainstream media is at an all-time low. For far too long, the leftwing elites of Washington, D.C., have had total control of much of the media. This has led to a direct lack of transparency in politics that the majority of Americans are downright sick of.

To combat this, President-elect Trump has a plan. Indeed, what he has up his sleeve is something that is sure to have the liberal elites of the D.C. swamp shaking in their boots!

From Daily Wire:
In the face of critical legacy media reports and opposition on Capitol Hill, President-elect Donald Trump’s transition team is working to forge a more direct line of communication with the American people through a playbook-style newsletter.

The Trump transition is launching a newsletter on Tuesday with the goal of establishing “transparent communication” with the public on Trump’s future policies and plans, The Daily Wire has exclusively learned. That newsletter is specifically aimed at Americans looking for real information about the transition process, who are frustrated with the mainstream media’s aggressively critical reporting on Trump.

“For far too long, the American people have been kept in the dark by bureaucrats and elites in Washington, DC,” Trump spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt told The Daily Wire. “The Trump-Vance Transition newsletter will deliver top news, updates on the transition process, details on President Trump’s brilliant Cabinet picks, and video highlights.”

Trump’s First ‘Road To 47’ Newsletter

The first “Road to 47” newsletter was released on Tuesday. It featured information about President-Elect Trump and his Cabinet picks that you likely won’t hear from the biased mainstream media.

Indeed, it highlighted the fact that SoftBank’s CEO just announced a $100 billion investment in the U.S. economy. He did this because he was confident in the economy after Trump’s win.

“That’s the Trump Effect, and with him back in office, that’s just the start,” wrote Trump transition team member Tommy Pigot. This former strategic communications director for the Republican National Committee will be one of the people penning the “Road to 47” newsletters.

The newsletter also calls out President Joe Biden’s administration for trying to sell off border wall materials in the final days of his presidency. The goal of this is to stop Trump from fulfilling his promise to resume border wall construction immediately after taking office again on January 20.

“The mandate from the election was clear – Americans want to end Biden’s border crisis and secure the border,” Pigot wrote. “They know the incoming Trump administration will build hundreds of miles of border wall – like the first Trump administration. It’s a parting insult from Joe Biden after years of grievous injury on the border. Inauguration Day can’t come soon enough.”

Millions of Americans will certainly agree!

Since the left has controlled the media for decades, they’ve had far too much power over what information the average American is able to obtain. There’s no telling just how much Democrats have been able to get away with due to this lack of transparency. We applaud President-Elect Trump for working to rectify this as he strives to make America great again!

Key Takeaways:

  • Trump is establishing “transparent communication” with the public through a newsletter.
  • This comes as Americans have lost all trust in the mainstream media.
  • The left has controlled the media for years, leading to a lack of transparency.
