On “The Brian Kilmeade Show,” Tuesday, Dershowitz called Merchan a “tyrant” after he threatened to strike the testimony of Bob Costello, the defense’s main witness, an act that Dershowitz argued would have violated the Sixth Amendment.

Dershowitz called Judge Merchan a tyrant for trying to manipulate the case in Democrats’ favor. Merchan was considering striking key witness testimony that contradicted Cohen’s claims. Dershowitz said that the judge was violating the Sixth Amendment. He called the entire trial a “spectacle.”

Dershowitz’s criticisms might be echoed by Trump’s defense. Should the jury convict, they will use Merchan’s bias during the appeals process, proving the judge poisoned the entire process.
