Democrats are pressing further in their quest to outlaw traditional references to gender. They are working behind the scenes to remove “gender-specific” language that has been on the books in U.S. law since the beginning of the nation.

These radical leftists believe gender references are bad for the country and discriminate against certain members of society. They want legal language to be gender neutral for everyone. And anyone who disagrees with them is nothing less than a “goon.”

“The Equality in Our Laws Act will enshrine gender equality into the U.S. Code and send a clear message that we won’t be silenced by the right wing politicians, judges, and media goons waging a full-on assault on women and queer folks.”

That’s a quote from Representative Summer Lee (D-PA) in her press release saying U.S. code “perpetuates sexist social structures and reinforces gender stereotypes and social discrimination.”

Lee wants to “enshrine gender equity” and eliminate “masculine generics” in U.S. legal code to be “more inclusive to members of the LGBTQIA+ community, especially gender- nonconforming, nonbinary, and intersex individuals,” according to her press release.

This is how taxpayer dollars are being spent? Lee and her fellow leftists in Congress are tone deaf on what Americans want their leaders to tackle in Washington. Congressional leaders should let ride current legal language and focus on pressing issues such as drug overdoses, the border, and money spent on foreign wars.

At least Lee doesn’t want to change gender-specific language that affects women because laws with female terms “create rights and protections,” according to Breitbart.

But doesn’t her allowing for “women” in legal language discriminate against certain members of the LGBTQIA+ community? She may be facing a challenge from people in her radical leftist camp who want all gender-specific language removed.

The laws work as they are written, and these woke radicals working in Congress should move on to more important issues. The majority of the population, all those “goons” she calls out, can keep this country going without more confusing language being inserted into laws.
