They thought they could beat Donald, but Congress blindsided Democrats.

Democrats sabotaged our country by shutting the government down.

Now they are trying to weasel out of this crisis, by getting a terrible bill passed. One that will get them off the hook.

If this bill reached President Trump’s desk, they’d try to pressure him into signing it. Even though it would not solve any of our problems.

Thankfully, one Republican shut them down.

Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va.) tried to get consent to take up a House-passed bill that would reopen all agencies except the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), which is at the center of the shutdown fight. But McConnell objected.

The Senate GOP leader didn’t explain his objection from the Senate floor, but he has warned for weeks that he will not bring up a government funding bill unless it’s the product of an agreement between congressional Democratic leadership and President Trump.

Can you imagine the gall of these Democrat scum? Tim Kaine was behind this. We shouldn’t be surprised; he’s a Clinton lackey after all.

They thought they could reopen all their liberal-packed government agencies. But not the one agency needed to secure the border and keep us safe.

Are they out of their minds? Did they expect nobody would notice?

Thank goodness for McConnell, who refused to even let that toxic bill see the light of day.

If this crisis is going to be resolved, it will be with the support of the president and his agenda. Democrats will not be able to worm out of the problem they created.
