If you ever doubted what Democrats are really trying to do by indicting Trump, get a load of this. The liberal media wants us to believe Democrats have no choice but to indict Trump over what appear to be overblown charges. That this “threat to democracy” must face “justice.”

But when their guard is down, Democrats let us know what they really feel about Trump. This has nothing to do with holding Trump “accountable” for crimes. This has everything to do with turning Americans against this popular and potentially future president. How much do Democrats hate Trump? Well, this one Democrat seemed to let slip what they really want to do to him.

Congressional Delegate Stacey Plaskett (D-USVI) had to correct herself on Sunday after she said during a live television interview that former President Donald Trump should be “shot.” […]

“You know, having Trump not only have had the codes, but now having the classified information for Americans and being able to put that out and share it in his resort — with anyone and everyone who comes through – should be terrifying to all Americans and he needs to be shot … stopped,” she said.

Yikes. Talk about a Freudian slip! A Democrat congressional delegate from the Virgin Islands said that Trump “needs to be shot.” Only for her to quickly correct herself and say he needs to be “stopped.”

Too late, Plaskett, you let the cat out of the bag. For years, Democrats have hounded Trump over one seemingly made-up charge after another. Most of the accusations they’ve thrown at him have been proven to be made up or heavily distorted.

Yet they keep going after him. Isn’t he innocent until proven guilty? Democrats’ schemes are painting Trump guilty until proven innocent. And now, this Democrat said he “needs to be shot.”

Even if that was just a slip of the tongue, her correction is just as damning. Trump “needs to be stopped”? Stopped from doing what? Restoring American prosperity? Ending foreign wars? Securing the border from illegal immigrants?

Yes, those are the things Democrats want to stop Trump from doing. These indictments and investigations simply seem to be their way of preventing Trump from getting elected. They probably don’t expect him to be indicted. But if they stir up as much bad blood against him as possible, perhaps enough voters will be turned off from supporting him.

Would Democrats really abuse the federal government, just to interfere in an election? They’ve done it before!
