Since the October 7th attack in Israel, progressives in the U.S. have expressed outrage against the Jewish nation.

Many Democrats have sided with pro-Palestinian groups calling for the destruction of Israel. This has created a growing rift among liberals.

Some are siding with anti-Israel groups, while many others remain loyal to Israel, a U.S. ally. But the conflict doesn’t seem to be going away–and yet another wild protest has hit a Democrat stronghold.

Police then used pepper spray and pushed back on protesters to move them a block away from the building. Members of the DNC were evacuated. People have also been asked to avoid the area.

Yet again, pro-Palestinian groups have been protesting Democrats. This time, a group was demonstrating outside the DNC offices in Washington, D.C. The activity grew violent, as protesters refused to comply with police orders.

The police were forced to use pepper spray and push back against protesters. Some were arrested as they grew agitated with the police. Reports claim the protestors were blocking the street and access to the building.

This is the latest in a series of protests by anti-Israel forces against Democratic leadership. A group of progressives stormed the offices of Democrat Sen. Gillibrand, demanding a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war.

A large group of pro-Palestinian activists vandalized national monuments and tried to scale into the White House during a protest last week. Pro-Palestinian groups have staged rallies, marches, and other events, calling for not only a ceasefire but the destruction of the nation of Israel.

This happened after many progressives, especially college groups, blamed Israel for the October 7th attack, where Hamas terrorists murdered around 1,200 civilians, kidnapping 240. Progressives have called Israel an “apartheid state” and have accused it of oppressing Palestinians.

As the far-left continues to criticize Israel, they are creating a rift within the party. Moderate Democrats, including many in Congress, continue to support Israel’s war with Hamas. How progressives will react come election time remains to be seen.
