What’s Happening:
Hear, ye, hear ye, all foreign nationals who want to infiltrate U.S. law enforcement take note – the state of Illinois is ready to hire you with full pay and benefits.
This is not a joke as this insanity is now law in the Prairie State. A bill to allow non-U.S. citizens to become police officers easily passed in the state house and senate before being proudly signed into law by Democrat Gov. J.B. Pritzker.
Citizens in the state will be susceptible on Jan. 1 to being arrested by foreign nationals on U.S. soil. All foreigners must do is be legally authorized to work in the U.S. under federal law and they can apply to be a cop.
In classic Pritzker fashion, the governor signed this and 129 other bills into law on Friday when citizens – and certainly not the liberal media – weren’t paying attention. The new law for officers did not go over well with rational citizens in the state who are outgunned politically by leftists.

“No sane state would allow foreign nationals to arrest their citizens, this is madness!” wrote Rep. Mary Miller on the X platform.
Her cries were amplified the Illinois Fraternal Order of Police who earlier declared the law a danger to society.

“This is a potential crisis of confidence in law enforcement at a time when our officers need all the public confidence they can get,” the Fraternal Order of Police stated.
The new state law, which appears to violate federal law according to news reports, could undermine Illinois power to effectively take care of its citizens through law enforcement.

“To hand the power to arrest and detain a citizen of this state, or a citizen of any state in the United States, to a non-citizen is a fundamental breach of democracy,” state Sen. Chapin Rose (R) proclaimed in fighting the bill. “It is antithetical to the police power of any state.”
This law enforcement change is so typical of leftist hypocrites who have cried out to defund the police for years. They obey one federal law that allows certain foreign nationals to work in the U.S. but then defy a federal law that does not allow the same people to serve as police officers or sheriff’s deputies.
How easy will it be for U.S. enemies, or even allies, to sneak in people who have no known criminal record (or a hidden record) but are tied directly to their homeland governments. Once legally authorized to work here, these people could act as moles against the U.S. and could work for the rest of their lives in our country as police officers.
These people could work within the law enforcement system legally and without monitoring as they gather intelligence on everything related to our domestic security operations. And U.S. taxpayers will pay for their salary, benefits, and retirement!
What is wrong with Democrats that they are so hell-bent on bringing in foreigners to create a new level of security danger for the American people? Pritzker and any legislator who signed off on this law should be charged with violating federal law and barred from ever serving in public office again.
