The Democratic National Convention is going on this week. Chances are, you won’t be watching it. News coming out of the event has not been good. Some Democrat leaders are getting hotel rooms under fake names to avoid activists from coming after them. The streets of Chicago are bracing for the worst. Anti-Israel protesters have sworn to raise hell.

All so they can force Democrats to turn on America’s ally and support terror-loving regimes.

Democrats seem unwilling or unable to confront these progressives. In reality, Kamala Harris will need these leftists if she wishes to win the election. That has led to Democrats being soft on a group of thousands that wish to spread chaos across an American city. On the first night of the convention, they gave us a taste of what they are going to do.

Ahead of the first night of programming at the Democratic National Convention, which is set to see Joe Biden speak later in the night, far-left agitators breached the fenced perimeter.

The agitators, with some wearing keffiyehs and holding anti-Israel signs and flags, broke open the fencing surrounding Chicago’s United Center. They moved to the interior fencing, behind which were dozens of officers…

Riot police quickly moved in and began pushing the agitators back, with signs being thrown at the officers.

As Democrats gathered in Chicago for their big event, the city was anything but calm. In a scene that felt like a sequel to 1968, far-left protesters, waving anti-Israel signs and sporting keffiyehs, decided to crash the Democratic National Convention, and they brought their own brand of chaos.

A Rocky Start for the Dems

Just as the first night of programming was about to kick off, with Joe Biden scheduled to give his swan song, these agitators made their move. Breaching the fenced perimeter around Chicago’s United Center, they stormed the venue like it was their personal playground. They didn’t stop at the first fence either—oh no. They went straight for the second line of fencing, where dozens of officers stood ready. In true anarchist fashion, the protesters tried to rip down that barrier, too.

This isn’t precisely the optics the Democrats hoped for, especially as they try to convince the country that they’re the party of “law and order.” But when your base includes a loud contingent of radical leftists, this is what you get. It’s almost poetic how the party that’s been flirting with anti-Israel rhetoric is now reaping the rewards—angry protesters throwing a tantrum right outside their convention.

Protesters are Coming for Kamala

Harris has a big problem on her hands. She must pretend to support Joe Biden, who had moderate Democrats’ votes. But she also needs to pander to the far left, which is mostly supporting Gaza and Hamas. That requires a kind of clever wit and leadership ability to bring both groups together. Unfortunately, Harris is an idiot. She cannot show tenacity to convince both groups she is on their side. And the far left seems to sense she will break for moderates since they are the bigger group.

And they made it clear during the protests that they were not on her side.

It appears these far-left, anti-Israel progressives hate Kamala as much as they hated Biden. They were marching with a massive banner that said, “Killer Kamala Gazas Speaking.” It seems pro-Palestinian activists blame Harris for America’s support of Israel as much as they blamed Biden. This means that even if Harris does turn on Israel to win back these voters, they might not believe it.

What is Harris going to do? This is a bigger problem than she might think. These progressives helped make Biden, and their rejection of him contributed to his downfall. If they turn on Harris, she is going to lose. But if she embraces their radical platform, she will lose the support of moderate voters and many Democrats.

It’s a lose-lose for Harris and the Democrats. But, in the end, they brought it on themselves.
