Legendary Conservative Leader Passes Away – Millions Are Mourning This Great Man

What’s Happening:

We are living at a time when great American leaders are leaving us. These are men and women who worked hard to protect American values and traditions, even in the face of intense opposition. They leave behind a great legacy and no small gap in leadership.

Not that long ago we lost conservative legend Rush Limbaugh. His passing marked the end of a powerful era of conservative commentary in news and radio. Now, a titan of conservative values, who fought alongside numerous Republican leaders, has departed.

From Fox News:

Legendary Christian broadcaster Pat Robertson, who spun a local Virginia TV station into the global Christian Broadcasting Network, has died at age 93, the network announced Thursday…

Robertson, known for his “700 Club” television show, had helped make religion central to Republican Party politics.

Pat Robertson was a respected Christian leader and broadcaster. Unlike many religious figures, who fearfully stayed out of politics, Robertson boldly called on American Christians to protect their liberties by supporting political figures.

Robertson has been a fixture in American politics and faith since the 1980s. He lived to the age of 93, continuing to appear on his widely-watched program, the 700 Club. After a short stint running for office himself, Robertson was an outspoken advocate for conservative values, particularly First Amendment issues and pro-life causes.

The broadcaster was well-respected by both political leaders and Christians across the denominational spectrum. With his passing, America loses another great leader. The question we are asking ourselves now is, who will step up to take his place?

Key Takeaways:

  • Christian leader and conservative figure Pat Robertson died at age 93.
  • Robertson has been a strong advocate for Republican values since the 1980s.
  • He founded the widely-watched program the 700 Club.
