After Woke Mob Cancels Roseanne – She Comes Storming Back with Big Announcement

What’s Happening:

A few years back, acclaimed comedienne and TV star Roseanne Barr wowed fans with a revival of her hit series. But leftists were outraged because the outspoken star was also a big Trump supporter. Eager to shut her down, Democrats pounced on a single tweet, twisting it to make her sound racist.

ABC, one of many liberal-run companies, fired Roseanne from her own show. Cancel culture won.

But now, the tide is turning. Roseanne continued to fight, airing a comedy special on Fox News’ streaming service. And now, she is making an announcement that will have liberals fuming. Because she is making a big comeback, on the very service that canceled her.

From The Post Millennial:

On Friday, comedian Roseanne Barr announced that she would be partnering up with Publicsq to start a show on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“I couldn’t be more excited to start a show right here on X,” Barr wrote on Twitter. “Elon Musk has said that ‘Comedy is legal’ on his site. We will certainly be taking advantage of that!”

According to the New York Post, Publicsq will be the exclusive sponsor of the show, with Barr signing a six-figure deal with the patriotic online marketplace.

Woah. Years ago, Roseanne was “canceled” over something she posted on Twitter. Today, she is launching her own show on the same platform, sponsored by Publicsq. Talk about just desserts! Not only that, but she signed a six-figure deal with the marketplace, perhaps the biggest deal they’ve made with a show.

Roseanne referenced Elon Musk, who proclaimed that “Comedy is legal” on Twitter after he bought it. Musk has been aggressively changing the culture on the social network, restoring free speech after years of censorship.

In fact, Musk is changing the entire brand for the social network. He is rolling out a new name “X” and replacing the old branding of blue birds.

Liberals claimed that Twitter would collapse after Musk took over. But it appears just the opposite is happening. Engagement appears to be increasing, as people eager to express themselves flock to the website.

Musk is campaigning to get creators on the network, promising revenue from their content. Roseanne is the second notable personality to announce an exclusive show on Twitter, following Tucker Carlson (who is also sponsored by Publicsq).

Could this spark a revolution of comedy on X? I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Key Takeaway:

  • Formerly “cancelled” Roseanne announced a new show on Twitter.
  • She has signed a six-figure deal with Publicsq, the show’s exclusive sponsor.
  • This comes after Roseanne was canceled after a post made on the same network.
