Far too many have squandered campaign funds, breaking finance laws.

This time, one Democrat had taken this money all the way to the stripper poll.

Michigan state Rep. Jewell Jones, a Democrat, is defending spending hundreds of campaign dollars at a strip club earlier this year in what he described as a “meeting” that deserved no further explanation.

Jones, who was elected in 2016 as the youngest representative in state history, reported spending $221 of his campaign funds on March 8 at the Pantheion Club, a gentlemen’s club in Dearborn, according to his campaign finance report reviewed Monday by The Detroit News.

I know Democrats like to be “hands on,” but this is ridiculous.

A young, recently elected state rep was caught after he spent hundreds of dollars at a local strip club.

His excuse? He was meeting the people “where they’re at.” Oh, that’s real nice.

Something tells me spending cash on lap dances at a strip club cannot be explained away as campaign “expenses.”

The man is so confident in his misdeeds, he claimed there is “no need” for him to explain himself.

Oh really…?

Does anyone believe that legitimate campaign business was being conducted at a sleazy strip club? Do the people of Michigan really think their elected leaders should be spending campaign money there?

Isn’t this the party of feminism and social justice? How do they defend a man who so casually walks into such a place?

Shouldn’t he be ashamed? Shouldn’t he be apologizing to the cancel culture mob right now?

I doubt he will. Democrats are very good at sweep their sins under the carpet. The media will ignore this.

Party leaders will just brush it aside.

But the American people deserve to know.
