California Quietly Pushes Scary New Law – The State Could Take Kids Away From “Non-Affirming” Parents

California claims to be at the front of the progressive movement, and Gov. Gavin Newsom believes his state sets a precedent the entire country should follow.

Newsom has made these remarks numerous times in the past, and we’ll likely hear them a lot more often if he runs for President in 2024. “Turning America into Cali” might be his rallying cry.

But several million parents won’t be on board with what they’re trying to do in the Golden State now.

Currently, California lawmakers are considering a bill that would actually allow state officials to take kids away from families — and they wouldn’t even have to tell the parents until afterward.

Basically, if the parents in question aren’t “woke” enough; if they refuse to be “affirming,” their child could be removed.

It’s the sort of law you would only expect to hear about in dystopian novels or in movies where totalitarian regimes have taken hold. But this is very real, and it could very well pass.

Via Washington Examiner:

Legislators in California are considering a bill that would allow state officials to separate children from their families without letting the parents know until after the fact.

Government authorities could do this for children who struggle with gender identity problems but whose parents are not being “affirming ” of their new identification as the opposite sex, or as nonbinary, gender fluid, pansexual, or one of the other made-up genders or sexual orientations.

Bill AB 665 says very specifically that children as young as 12 could be placed in “state-funded group homes without parental permission or knowledge.”

This would give full power to the state government: they can decide to keep the parents out of the situation “based on his or her own personal decision.”

Currently, there’s a more common sense law in place that simply lets kids get mental health treatment without parental consent. But only if they can prove they’re being abused.

In other words, the law doesn’t say children of healthy parents can do whatever they want. Bill AB 665 changes that, however.

The bill is being pushed on the results of a random online survey of LGBT people, which showed that more than 50% of participants said they couldn’t get permission from their parents or guardians for accessing mental health services.

Of course, this completely ignores the fact that parents just might not agree with the idea that women can be men and vice versa.

Critics of the bill say it’s just another attempt to twist our youth and inject more dysfunction into an already sick society. All it’s really doing is encouraging kids to switch genders and pronouns, and get special treatment for it.

Don’t forget that this new law was written by Sen. Scott Wiener, who also pushed for a law that would let a parent “transport his or her child to the state, ignore custody orders, and medically ‘transition’ the child.”

Cutting parents out probably won’t go over very well with a good portion of America, and the idea that minors can suddenly claim they’re a different gender won’t fly, either.

Many will say this bill isn’t about abuse; it’s about a terrifying agenda, which is wreaking havoc on families and our youth, and destroying the concept of the nuclear family for a toxic woke agenda.

Key Takeaways:

  • California lawmakers are considering a law that would let the state remove kids from “non-affirming” parents.
  • They could do this without telling the parents at first, and claim it’s because the children are being “abused.”
  • Critics say it’s just another way to push a woke agenda, and twist our youth with the gender-altering insanity of the left.
