If you live outside a blue state, you don’t really understand how lucky you are.
Things are getting pretty bad along the West Coast. Democratic policies have damaged police departments are rewarded criminals.
In some places, like San Francisco, stores can’t even stay open. So many people rob them—cops powerless to stop—that entire streets are shut down.
And in nearby Oakland, we have heard reports of countless muggings, carjackings, and break-ins.
Now, we have learned that a former U.S. senator from California learned the hard way how bad it is.
From Daily Caller:
Former California Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer was assaulted in Oakland, California.
Boxer‘s official Twitter account announced the incident late Monday.
“Earlier today former Senator Barbara Boxer was assaulted in the Jack London Square neighborhood of Oakland. The assailant pushed her in the back, stole her cell phone and jumped in a waiting car. She is thankful that she was not seriously injured,” reads the tweet.
Thankfully, this woman was not seriously harmed. But perhaps this frightening episode will open her eyes—and the eyes of the rest of the Democratic Party.
This former senator, a lawmaker and leader, was assaulted as she was walking down the street.
Someone pushed her in the back, stole her phone, and jumped in a nearby getaway car.
If you think this sounded way too coordinated to be true, think again.
Crime is getting so bad in California, that criminals are emboldened to this sort of thing in broad daylight. It’s starting to sound like a third-world country.
Visitors are learning the hard way just how efficient thieves have become. There are ample video clips that show how fast these crooks are.
And the cops are powerless to stop them. In some cities, lawmakers have made theft and other felonies legal.
How long before this rising tide of crime makes places like Oakland, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, and Los Angeles completely unlivable?
Eventually, law-abiding citizens will just have to say, “Enough is enough.” Already we hear about the exodus from CA (you can’t even rent a moving truck in the state).
When will we report that these cities are now Mad Max-style warzones, where only scavengers and criminals thrive?
Or will these lawmakers finally wake up and restore law and order?
