Biden Tries to Celebrate 1 Big ‘Victory’ – Minutes Later He Gets Wrecked by Devastating Report

Once again, Biden is scrambling to forgive billions in student loans. The Supreme Court ruled only Congress to make such moves. Yet Biden appears to be doing it to win over young voters—as he did during the 2022 midterms.

Many voters hate this student loan “forgiveness” scheme. It puts a huge burden on taxpayers—many of whom never went to college.

But it seems Democrats think this will be enough to win back young voters, including progressives who have turned on Joe over the war in Israel. If that is the case, Biden might be in for a rude awakening.

From Fox News:
It is evident that the aging and unpopular Democratic president is facing a problem connecting with young voters…

A recent Fox News poll shows Biden is at risk of losing this coalition as Donald Trump currently carries voters under 30 by 21 points, 46% to 25%. Worse, 1-in-5 (18%) young voters, feeling alienated by both parties and the political system more generally, say they will vote for RFK Jr…

While Biden’s program could provide some benefit, it does not speak to the majority (53%) of 18 to 34-year-olds who do not have a college degree. This group, which reliably swings for Trump by 31 points, has been hit the hardest by record high rent and food prices.

Biden is passing another round of student loan cancellations. But it might not be enough to fix his problem with young people. While Biden won the young vote in 2020, polls indicate that he is trailing behind Trump in this group by 21 points.

A recent poll shows Trump carrying this group, 46%-25%. While Biden’s loan scheme might impress some, reports indicate young voters are not even noticing the move. Inflation, the border crisis, and crumbling foreign policy appear to be the issues keeping Americans up at night.

Biden’s handling of the economy has resulted in historically high inflation. Food prices, gas, and rent continue to climb. The people who are hit hardest by this are young adults entering the workforce. They do not have a cushion of money to fall back on. They are trying to build their careers and home life. Biden’s inflation is making that much harder.

On top of that Biden’s plans will end up hurting most working Americans, including young voters who did not attend college. They will have to carry the brunt of this program through taxes for years to come.

Key Takeaways:

  • Biden is pushing a new round of student loan cancellation to win over young voters.
  • But polling shows Biden trailing behind Trump with young voters by 21 points.
  • Biden’s devastating economic policy has hurt young workers more than anyone else.
