Biden Claims He’s Working to Release Hostages While on Long Vacation, Met with Strong Criticism

In the month since Joe Biden announced his withdrawal from the presidential race, he has taken to spending our tax dollars on seemingly endless vacations.

Biden and his family have gone from spending time at their vacation home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, to a luxurious vacation in Southern California. They are now back in Rehoboth Beach again for yet another vacation week.

On Sunday, Biden finally paused from his relaxation time. He did so to respond after six hostages who Hamas took on October 7 were found brutally murdered. Despite his apparently endless vacation status, Biden had the nerve to claim that he is “working tirelessly” to bring the remaining hostages home.

Yeah, right, Joe…

Unfortunately for Biden, however, nobody is buying it. Once again, the American people simply aren’t as dumb as Biden and his handlers think that we are.

From Daily Wire:
“I’ve worked tirelessly to bring Hersh home, and Jill and I could not be more heartbroken by the news of his death. It is tragic and reprehensible. Hamas leaders will pay for these crimes. And we’ll continue working towards a deal to secure the release of the remaining hostages,” he posted via X along with a lengthy statement laying out some of the details of Hersh Goldberg-Polin’s story.

It didn’t take long for this to backfire on Biden in a big way. Social media users flooded his post with responses that call Biden out on this nonsense.

More from Daily Wire:
“When Israel wanted to go to Rafah—where Hersh was being held and then executed this week —to rescue hostages, you threatened to cut off weapons to Israel. You’ve repeatedly protected Hamas from Israeli justice, and Hamas, sensing your weakness, refused to surrender,” one posted, noting that the Biden-Harris administration had repeatedly warned Israel not to engage in Rafah despite knowing it was Hamas’ last stronghold.

“Dude hasn’t worked ‘tirelessly’ on anything since gaslighting Clarence Thomas at his confirmation hearing,” Harmeet Dhillon added.

Biden Dropped The Ball

It should be noted that one of the deceased hostages, Hersh Goldberg-Polin, was an American citizen. He had been held hostage by Hamas for nearly 11 months before he was callously murdered last week.

While all of the hostages should be freed, Biden should have been working overtime to bring an American citizen home. He should have made it clear to Hamas that they would pay dearly if they killed an American citizen. Instead, Biden repeatedly urged Israel to show restraint before jetting off on endless summer vacations on American taxpayers’ dime.

That’s nothing short of despicable.

Making this even worse is that Biden spoke out on Monday to claim that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu isn’t doing enough to bring these hostages home. It’s truly unbelievable that Biden had the gall to say this while he himself remains on a vacation that appears to have no end in sight.

The hypocrisy of Biden and his fellow Democrats never ceases to amaze.

In the end, many Americans know that the blood of the hostages who were killed last week are partly on the hands of Biden and Kamala Harris. If Biden really was doing everything he could to bring the remaining hostages home, he would stop his vacation immediately and get back to work.

Biden can keep lying to the American people about his efforts with these hostages all that he wants to. Sadly for him, the number of people who believe anything he says is shrinking by the day.

Key Takeaways:

  • Biden claims he’s “worked tirelessly” to bring Israeli hostages home.
  • He said this while continuing his seemingly endless vacation.
  • An Israel-American was one of the hostages killed by Hamas last week.
