It seems progressives stir up protests, now, every election year. Perhaps they hope to fearmonger voters into backing the candidate of their choice, through dangerous demonstrations and even rioting.
This year, the progressive left has chosen a losing battle to fight. Far-left Democrats are protesting U.S. ally Israel and its war against Hamas.
But progressives aren’t targeting Republicans in their fight to get America to abandon the one Jewish state in the world. They are becoming increasingly hostile to Democrats. Now, they are taking their fight all the way to the top. And they just gave one of Biden’s top officials a very bad day.

Code Pink protesters showed up in the Senate on Tuesday to protest the Biden administration and Secretary of State Antony Blinken. A staffer for the group was arrested as a result of the agitation in the congressional chamber…The agitators held up their hands, covered with red paint, and accused Blinken of being the “secretary of genocide.” They chanted the same phrases over and over, including “how embarrassing,” “war criminal,” “bloody butcher Blinken,” and other insults.
The agitators disrupted the Senate’s Foreign Relations Committee hearing where Blinken was attempting to answer questions from the people’s representatives to complain about American ally Israel and Biden’s backing of that nation.
A group of Gaza-backing progressives calling themselves “Code Pink” stormed the Senate this week. They were targeting Biden’s Secretary of State Antony Blinken, over the country’s support for Israel. They chanted angrily at whoever would listen. They called Blinken a war criminal and bloody butcher.
Ironically, the Biden administration has not been the stalwart ally of Israel it should be. America has long helped its ally in the Middle East against terrorism and war. But Biden has been pulling support for Israel and even accused it of mistreating Palestinian civilians.
It seems Biden is cowering before the progressive left, who helped him get elected. But apart from fully condemning Israel and giving Hamas material aid, these progressives will not be satisfied. Some lefties have even associated themselves with the terror group, condoning its evil actions on October 7th.
It is unclear just how Biden will ultimately respond to progressives. He cannot stay on the fence for much longer. He will either have to reaffirm America’s support of Israel, defying the left. Or he will fully bow to the radical left’s demands, torching America’s friendship with Israel.
If he does that, however, he will face the wrath of nearly all U.S. voters.
