Shocking New Biden Move Just Got Annihilated – Democrat Senate Betrays Biden in Huge Turnaround

Federal agencies have enacted oppressive rules and regulations upon the American people in the past few decades. The power given to unelected federal employees strayed out of control over the years that Congress is forced to rein in the wayward agencies.

Joe Biden has used this unintended power of federal agencies to circumvent Congress and the judicial system to force his radical leftist policies onto Americans. Biden has used this power trip on everything from kitchen appliances to offshore fishing leases to the cars people drive to get to work so they can pay the bills.

Power-hungry Biden pushed Congress too far on a controversial issue that hits every American in the wallet. Congress finally stepped up against Biden as Republicans and Democrats worked together to stop the president’s overreach of power.

From Fox News:
The Senate on Wednesday afternoon voted in favor of passing a bill reversing the Biden administration’s actions mandating states to track and set reduction goals for greenhouse gas emissions from vehicles on highways.

“The Senate will take up my bipartisan resolution that overturns the Biden administration’s obviously illegal rule that requires state departments of transportation to measure CO2 tailpipe emissions then set declining targets for vehicles traveling on the highway systems of their respective states,” Sen. Kevin Cramer (R-ND) said in floor remarks earlier Wednesday.

The Senate approved the resolution in a 53-47 vote. That majority win was enabled by support across the aisle where Sens. Kyrsten Sinema, I-Ariz.; Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio; Jon Tester, D-Mont.; and Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., joined every Republican voting for the resolution. The bill was introduced in February by Sens. Cramer; Shelley Moore Capito, R-W.Va.; and Manchin.

Cramer expressed frustration among fellow politicians about the “un-elected bureaucrats asserting authority they don’t have” and forcing federal mediocrity onto states.

The Senate resolution was prompted by final regulations in November from the Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). The agency supports Biden’s “whole-of-government approach” that wants to force the reduction of carbon emissions by 50% by 2030.

Lawmakers argued that the FHWA overstepped its authority under Congress and Cramer blasted the FHWA for justifying the rules because Congress did not explicitly bar such actions. Fellow Republicans joined Cramer in championing the result of Senators working together.

“The Biden administration should have never introduced this rule. But now we, the policymaking branch of government, must end it,” Cramer said.

The Senate bill must be passed in the House where a companion bill was introduced. Even if it passes the House, the White House issued a statement that Biden would veto the bill.

Key Takeaways:

  • Senators voted to strike down Biden’s climate regulations targeting car emissions.
  • A Senate bill passed with bipartisan support that called Biden’s actions “illegal.”
  • The resolution is expected to pass in the House but Biden said he will veto the bill.
