Biden Blindsided by New Impeachment Charge – This One Just Caught the Nation by Surprise

For most of 2023, Republican investigators have been compiling what they say is evidence against Joe Biden. House lawmakers have accused Biden of engaging in a bribery ring with his son and other family members.

Investigators have been trying to expose Hunter Biden for quite a while. The House even subpoenaed the man for answers to his wayward lifestyle.

But on the very day he was supposed to give a close-door testimony, Hunter grandstanded in front of the Capitol Building. Now, Republicans are claiming Joe Biden was behind that stunt. And this could lead to impeachment.

From Daily Wire:
House Republicans suggested on Wednesday that President Joe Biden could face an impeachment offense related to his son Hunter Biden‘s refusal to comply with a congressional subpoena…

Though Jean-Pierre has refused to offer any more details when pressed on whether President Biden tried to talk his son out of violating a congressional subpoena, Jordan and Comer said they are faced with the “troubling new question” of whether the commander in chief “corruptly sought to influence or obstruct” their proceeding. “Such conduct could constitute an impeachable offense,” they wrote.

According to reports, President Biden was “familiar” with what Hutner was going to say during his spectacle outside the Capitol Building. That suggests Biden knew Hunter was going to defy a congressional subpoena.

Now, Republicans are demanding documents related to that event. They appear to suspect that Joe Biden might have been involved in Hutner’s refusal to appear before Congress. If that is true, it could be viewed as obstruction.

And, if that is the case, it is an “impeachable offense.” Republicans cited criminal code that stated it is illegal to influence or obstruct the “due and proper exercise” of an investigation led by the House.

It is unknown if President Biden advised Hutner to refuse to appear. But knowing that Hunter was going to pull his grandstanding instead has many on alert. If the president was coaching Hunter in any way, he could be in big trouble.

Key Takeaways:

  • House Republicans suspect President Biden engaged in obstruction of Congress.
  • This comes after KJP claimed Biden knew about Hunter’s plans to avoid the subpoena.
  • Investigators claim that if Biden obstructed their investigation, it is an impeachable offense.
