Only an idiot thinks the border is secure, at this point. Thanks to Joe Biden, millions of illegal aliens have flooded the country since 2021. Biden does nothing to enforce our border laws, nor does he deport the many who come over illegally. Border town officials revealed it’s gotten so bad, that the drug cartels are running the border.
But Biden can’t ignore this crisis and win re-election. Even blue city mayors are getting angry, as Republicans keep sending migrants their way. Biden is in no way about to enforce our laws. But he is secretly trying to implement a new rule to reduce the number of migrants hammering our country. And it sounds awfully familiar.

The Biden administration proposed a new restriction on asylum seekers that closely resembles a policy from the Trump administration.
The new rule would prevent migrants who do not use already available legal pathways to asylum and do not seek asylum in a third country from applying for asylum in the U.S. Biden Administration officials said the rule was proposed in response to the end of Title 42 immigration restrictions. It also closely resembles a Trump administration policy which similarly banned asylum seekers who did not first seek asylum in another country.
It’s unclear if this new rule will take effect or if Biden will bother to enforce it. But the administration is currently considering a rule that is very similar to a policy from the Trump administration.
Simply put, it aims to reduce how many people demand asylum in our country. Those who are coming a long way have to apply for asylum in the first country they enter. Those who have other legal pathways to asylum can’t jump the border and seek asylum that way.
Biden is claiming this is coming up, because Title 42 is ending. But this rule has nothing to do with Title 42. For those who have forgotten, Title 42 is a rule that allowed Border Patrol to deport aliens, to keep detention centers from getting overcrowded. This was an attempt to prevent the spread of COVID.
But Biden never fully enforced Title 42 and made many exemptions. And, under him, our detention centers were grossly overcrowded.
How does this new rule have any bearing on that? It doesn’t. Biden is making excuses because he needs to find a way to reduce the flood of illegals–without admitting Trump was right. But even implementing some rules exposes Biden’s failures.
He did nothing to secure the border for years, allowing drug cartels, human smugglers, sex traffickers, and economic refugees to flood the country. He’s jeopardized our national security, our economy, and our communities. He’s going to have to do much more to restore our borders.
