When the Afghanistan situation boiled over, Americans stuck in the Taliban-controlled country were in extreme danger. And obviously, our military members would be risking their lives as well.
But now the U.S. facing another troubling aspect: the arrival of thousands of Afghan refugees. Recent reports say this has suddenly become a much bigger issue than anyone might’ve anticipated.
The problem is that we’re apparently not vetting these new arrivals—at all.
The news first broke on CNN, as sources told the news network that Afghans are arriving in the U.S. with virtually no proof of identification. They’re simply being flown in at a rapid clip.
Critics say it’s a bad idea during an ongoing pandemic, but it’s even more concerning given the country of origin.
On top of that, it seems the Biden administration is aware that no vetting is taking place, and they’re focused on simply bringing in as many refugees as possible.
To many citizens, that’s not the best idea.
According to the original report (via Breitbart):
Afghans are arriving in the United States despite having ‘no documents whatsoever’ after having been screened and approved by President Joe Biden’s federal agencies, CNN reported.
Sources with knowledge of Biden’s massive refugee resettlement operation out of Afghanistan to the U.S. told CNN that many Afghans are arriving at Dulles International Airport in Virginia without having any paperwork on them.
Again, it seems the President and his team has full knowledge of this process.
The “top-down goal,” according to the report, is to “fast-track as many Afghans out of the screening and vetting process in European and Middle Eastern countries,” and simply get them on flights to the U.S.
We also have no idea exactly how many refugees are pouring in right now.
Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) wouldn’t say how many Afghans have arrived, but the source was clear on how things are going:
The approach from the administration has been ‘get as many people on the plane as you can, and we’ll sort out the (immigration visa) stuff later,’ the source added, pointing to the rush to get people out of Afghanistan after the US-backed government there collapsed. [Emphasis added]
DHS sources did say the Biden administration wants to resettle “potentially hundreds of thousands” of Afghans in the U.S.
The source added that in turn, this creates a much higher chance of Afghan-related terror crimes within the United States. And with no vetting or oversight, this becomes even more disturbing.
Biden’s critics say it’s just another major misstep, and it could really cost his administration.
From the evacuations to the “resettling,” there’s no doubt that the President is facing a huge amount of heat, and perhaps rightfully so.
And at this point, the impact on this country could be profoundly negative — something most Democrats and liberals evidently don’t want to face.
- Sources say thousands of refugees are being flown into the U.S. with virtually no documentation.
- The administration’s goal is to resettle potentially hundreds of thousands of Afghans.
- But with so many arriving with zero documentation, this could spell serious trouble for American citizens.
