As we’ve seen all throughout this year, Democrats are desperate to get their agenda done fast.
After 2022, they will probably not have enough support in Congress to pass their toxic agenda.
But they have a problem. Republican senators are not interested in supporting Joe Biden’s bloated spending.
Democrats have threatened many things to get their debt-expanding agenda done.
And it looks like they are trying to push Biden’s most radical agenda through, regardless of Republican support.
From Fox Business:
Sen. Bernie Sanders, the chair of the Senate Budget Committee, confirmed that Democrats are weighing a $6 trillion reconciliation bill that builds on the dual economic proposals unveiled earlier this year by President Biden…
“We have to be conscious of the debt,” Manchin told reporters on Thursday, noting that adding $3 trillion to the national debt is “a lot.” An unprecedented level of spending on coronavirus relief efforts pushed the nation’s debt to a record $28 trillion.
Democrats have threatened to pass Biden’s bloated $6 trillion spending plan through a Senate loophole called reconciliation.
This move, if successful, would only require 51 votes in the Senate. That would sidestep every Republican, continuing a very bad trend set earlier in the year.
Biden claims to be a moderate who wants to bring both parties together. But reconciliation is a sleazy move that ignores the wishes of Republicans.
And for what? To expand the national debt by trillions, raise taxes, and contribute to ongoing economic problems like inflation.
Biden’s agenda is not really about “infrastructure.” He wants to expand the welfare state by handing out more socialist-style benefits.
And he wants to throw billions to “green” companies, which experts say already have enough cash.
Very little of his plans are aimed at rebuilding our country and helping businesses and workers thrive.
After all, you can’t grow the economy with government spending. That always does the opposite.
The only real threat to Schumer’s plan are moderates in the Senate who want a bipartisan plan. But only Joe Manchin seems willing to cooperate with Republicans.
If Democrats get this toxic bill through with reconciliation—it will do more harm than good to them.
We’re already suffering thanks to the $1 trillion plan. What would $6 trillion do?
In another year or two, a majority of Americans will be begging for Republicans to retake the reins.
- Democrats want to push Biden’s toxic $6 trillion plans through reconciliation.
- The move would cut out Republicans, denying them a voice in the spending.
- Only a few moderates are against this plan, which would expand the national debt.
