Ben Carson Comes to Trump’s Defense After “Hostile” Black Journalist Interview

Are you as tired as I am of the left calling Trump a racist?” I don’t have to spend time pointing to Trump’s policies that helped black Americans. Meanwhile, Biden and Harris’ open border policies and inflation hurt working Americans, especially black workers. Despite this, the left wants you to believe Trump hates people because of the color of their skin.

Trump decided to jump right into the hornet’s nest to disprove them. He attended the National Association of Black Journalists, where he fielded questions from black, liberal reporters. These far-left “journalists” did nothing but bash the former president, throwing questions at him that were biased, dishonest, and one-sided. Despite this, he used the interview to forward his agenda.

From The Post Millennial:

During his appearance at the convention, Trump also took aim at Harris for a number of failed policy initiatives during the Biden administration. Trump specifically highlighted the migrant crisis that has continued on the southern border, calling Harris “the worst border czar” and saying she has done a “horrible job” regarding immigration.

The One-Side, Biased Interview

The interview with this group of journalists was a test of Trump’s resolve. They were never going to treat him fairly, and that was certainly the case. But Trump was undaunted, as usual, and fought back. The liberal media has tried to bash the interview, running around like chickens with their heads cut off to slam Trump.

Black Republican and former presidential candidate Ben Carson decided to join the discussion. Caron grew up in the inner city and became a respected neurosurgeon who made history with his work. He went on to help inner-city Americans as the head of HUD. What does he think about Trump’s interview with the NABJ?

From Fox News:
Former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Dr. Ben Carson praised former President Trump for appearing before a “hostile” National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) convention in Chicago.

“I commend my friend @realdonaldtrump for going into a hostile environment at @NABJ today and answering tough questions,” Carson said in a post on X Wednesday.

Carson Comes to Trump’s Defense

Carson defied the liberal narrative to go to bat for Trump. He applauded Trump for enduring the “hostile environment” at the NABJ. Carson commended Trump for tackling their tough questions, which were dishonestly worded and framed as slandering Trump’s character.

The media is particularly shocked that Trump said Kamala Harris isn’t black. According to reports, Harris’ ethnicity is Indian and Jamaican. Trump pointed out that, in the past, the Democrat harped on her Indian heritage to advance her career. But when she became Biden’s running mate, the media started calling her black. Trump simply pointed out this fact, and the media lost their minds.

This is no surprise since the left idolizes ethnicity, especially for people of color. A white man has no business criticizing a person of color, based on what Democrats say. Apparently, we can’t call out Harris’ horrible record, poor leadership, and constant failures because she is a “woman of color.”

Trump Took One on the Chin

In reality, Trump didn’t have to even go to that convention. But he did so to extend an olive branch to black journalists. In thanks, they attacked him, lied about him to his face, and misrepresented his value and party. This is why Americans hate the mainstream media. They aren’t even hiding their liberal agenda. In reality, many black voters are flocking to Trump because they admire him and identify with him. He is a hard-working American who shoots straight and distrusts the government. So do millions of black Americans.

Meanwhile, Harris is a two-faced politician who enjoys a privileged status and looks down on the rest of us.

Key Takeaways:

  • Trump faced harsh criticism and slander at the National Association of Black Journalists convention.
  • During an interview, he became combative with black reporters who attacked him.
  • Ben Carson came to Trump’s defense, applauding his ability to confront the “hostile environment.”
