With perhaps only two years in power, Democrats are growing more and more desperate.
Nancy Pelosi has a narrow majority in the House and she knows it. With a Democrat in control of the White House, she is trying to jam through whatever liberal policies the far left of her party demands.
But it doesn’t seem Americans are all too happy to see Congress go down the socialist road. Just as we come out of the 2020 crisis, the last thing Americans want is more government spending, higher taxes, and lower wages.
And it looks like we are already seeing the backlash. A new internal battleground poll is showing it might be curtains for Democrats.
It could be a repeat of the 2010 Tea Party wave.
Pelosi hits 60% unfavorable in Trump/Democratic districts. Democrats in these districts are going to have an uphill battle defending their decisions to vote in lockstep with Pelosi’s socialist agenda…
In ticket-splitting districts, 54% want “a Republican who will be a check-and-balance to Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats’ agenda in Congress” while just 41% want “a Democrat who will help Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats pass their agenda in Congress.” …
72% of Independents are less likely to vote for “a Democrat who supports two trillion dollars in wasteful spending that funds Democrat pet projects without any accountability or transparency for how the money is spent.”
A new internal poll from battleground states reveals some bad news for Nancy and the Democrats.
It looks like voters are not on board with their scorched earth approach to leading the country. With their slim majority, Democrats are pushing heavy government spending.
But many voters, a majority in most cases, do not want Democrats spending more and more.
In fact, most voters want to put a Republican in office that can check Pelosi’s agenda. Far fewer voters want to pick a Democrat for their district that can support Pelosi.
The poll reveals Pelosi’s popularity continues to sink. It was already low back in February. But more recently, she has found ways to get even lower, with a 60% unfavorability in swing districts.
That’s shockingly low, I don’t care who you are.
Voters also trust Republicans more than Democrats to handle the economy properly. That’s pretty important these days since the economy took a massive hit in 2020.
Since taking over D.C., most Republicans and many independents seem to think Democrats have done very little to help America recover after 2020.
Instead, Democrats have spent almost 2 trillion dollars—with plans to raise taxes to spend 4 trillion more, and that’s just for starters.
All Republicans have to do is oppose the left’s radical plans and promise to bring back sanity to D.C.. According to these polls, voters will be coming in droves to put them back into power.
Do you think Republicans will see a red wave in 2022?
- A new internal poll reveals how little voters in battleground states approve of Democrats.
- Nancy Pelosi and her Congress have shrinking support, as they push a socialist agenda.
- More voters want Republicans in Congress to check Pelosi and her plans.
