Legal experts expressed outrage on Wednesday over the instructions Judge Juan Merchan gave to the jury as it began deliberations in former President Donald Trump’s hush money case.

Former federal prosecutor Andy McCarthy told Fox News that the instructions were not in “line with the United States Constitution” and had turned into a “make-it-up-as-you-go-along” situation…

“They can disagree on what the crime was among the three choices. Thus, this means that they could split 4-4-4 and he will still treat them as unanimous.”

The judge told the jury they don’t have to agree unanimously about what crime Trump actually committed. Unlike every other criminal trial in U.S. history, the judge appears to be telling the jurors they can disagree, and Trump will still be convicted.

Anyone without a liberal bias will be shocked by this move. Legal experts explained repeatedly how the prosecution failed to prove Trump broke the law. Their top witness, Michael Cohen, admitted to greater crimes than Trump. Yet the judge is poisoning the waters against Trump, so no matter what the jury says, he will be convicted.

A former federal prosecutor even said the judge is making up it as he goes along. What he is doing is “not in line with the Constitution” according to other experts. This appears to be a shocking violation of Trump’s rights. If it is allowed to stand, this could happen again for anyone else.
