Millions of migrants have poured into America since Joe Biden entered office. Instead of upholding federal immigration law, Biden has moved these migrants to all corners of the country. Many of them have ended up in blue cities and states—which quickly became overwhelmed.

These Democrat-run states have run out of resources and room for these migrants. Yet instead of demanding Biden deport them, Democrats are coming up with new ways to accommodate these illegals.

It seems Democrats are giving outsiders benefits Americans can only dream of. In one state, the liberal governor is offering cash to provide rent for undocumented migrants. And very quickly, Americans pushed back.

Illegal immigrants to benefit from the program have to have an “eligible immigration status” including those illegal immigrants who have simply claimed asylum in the country.

Gov. Whitmer is facing backlash over a program where Michigan pays landlords to house illegal aliens. After running out of space in state-run shelters, the Democrat is looking for new ways to provide outsiders with housing—at the detriment to Americans.

The program refers to illegal aliens as “refugees” and “newcomers.” Those migrants who illegally entered the country can receive these benefits as long as they claim asylum. Most migrants caught at the border claim they are seeking asylum. Despite lacking documentation or any form of proof, Biden’s DHS rolls out the red carpet for them.

Whitmer’s program will encourage more illegal immigration to Michigan. Meanwhile, Americans struggling to find affordable housing will have to compete with migrants. Landlords are guaranteed $500 from the state for taking in migrants. They do not get that cash for providing housing to Americans.

This is consistent with other policies from Democrats in other blue cities and states. Liberal mayors have slashed city budgets—from programs helping Americans—to provide more cash to migrants. New York is giving out debit cards to migrants living in luxury hotels.

Other cities are extending government jobs to illegal aliens, while Americans are getting hammered with low wages during a time of rampant inflation.
