Trump Gets Major Ruling in Georgia Case – This Just Rocked the 2024 Election

The case against Trump out of Georgia appears to be hanging by a thread. The country district attorney who launched the unprecedented case has been exposed for scandalous behavior. DA Willis is facing a trial of her own, after being accused of hiring her partner and paying him a large salary.

It is unknown yet, how that will affect Trump’s case. If Willis is charged with a crime or removed from this case, it could lead to a mistrial.

But already Willis’s questionable actions are starting to erode her case against the former president. The judge presiding over the case has had plenty of time to look over her charges. And he just issued a ruling that is already a big victory for Trump.

From Fox News:
A Fulton County judge has quashed six counts in the Georgia election interference case against former President Trump and his 18 co-defendants.

Judge Scott McAfee said in an order Wednesday that the state failed to allege sufficient detail for six counts of “solicitation of violation of oath by public officer.”

“As written, these six counts contain all the essential elements of the crimes but fail to allege sufficient detail regarding the nature of their commission, i.e., the underlying felony solicited,” the judge continued.

Judge Scott McAfee, the judge overseeing the case against Trump, just got rid of six of the charges. He is rejecting the state’s claim that Trump and his co-defendants committed “solicitation of violation of oath by public officer.”

The judge explained that the state has failed to show “sufficient detail” explaining what they say Trump did. Basically, it seems the judge is accusing Willis and her team of making up charges against Trump, just to charge him.

Judge McAfee said their “lack of detail” regarding these six charges was “fatal.” Willis said Trump and others violated their oaths, but didn’t bother explaining how. That won’t fly in a court of law—and the judge knows it.

He has dismissed those charges, but not the entire trial. But this is very good news for Trump and his legal team. It could give them grounds to challenge the other pending charges—perhaps even file for a mistrial.

Many Americans believe this, as well as the other cases against Trump, are purely partisan in nature. Democrats have thrown everything they have at Trump, including civil and criminal trials, just to stop him from getting elected in November.

Seems like they are convinced he’d win without this interference.

Key Takeaways:

  • The judge presiding over the Trump Georgia case rejected six of the charges.
  • He accused DA Willis of accusing Trump of violating his oath, but not explaining how.
  • This comes as the district attorney faces serious allegations of corruption.
