Trump Gives Taylor Swift 1 Big Warning – Then Gives Her Boyfriend a New Nickname

Lots of people are talking about last weekend’s Super Bowl results. But not just because of the game. An entirely new group of people are suddenly interested in football, because pop music icon Taylor Swift is dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

For a time, it seems Taylor Swift is associated with football. And, on the eve of the game, Donald Trump decided to call her out.

The former president issued a warning to Swift and reminded her of something he did. He then went on to mention her all-star boyfriend and gave him this new nickname.

From Daily Wire:
In a post to Truth Social, Trump claimed that he struck a chord with Swift in 2018 when he signed legislation into law that sought to close “loopholes” in digital royalty laws to help artists, producers, and others get paid for their work in the music industry…

Trump quipped that there was “no way” Swift could endorse Biden, whom he described as corrupt, “and be disloyal to the man who made her so much money.” He added, “Besides that, I like her boyfriend, Travis, even though he may be a Liberal, and probably can’t stand me!”

Just before the game, Trump mentioned Taylor Swift in a post on TRUTH Social. Trump reminded Taylor Swift that he signed into law the Music Modernization Act in 2018. That law sought to close loopholes that cost artists royalties owed them by record labels.

Trump claimed that he helped Swift make “so much money,” although the singer was already a superstar by 2018. The former president warned Swift not to endorse Joe Biden in the election because he “didn’t do anything” for her.

Swift endorsed Joe Biden in 2020, so it is unlikely he will endorse Donald Trump in the next election. She has yet to issue any statements regarding the upcoming election.

Trump went on to claim that he likes Travis Kelce, Swift’s current boyfriend and Super Bowl champion. The Republican couched his comment by saying Travis “may be a liberal” and “probably can’t stand me”.

It is unknown where Kelce stands politically, but he infamously starred in a Pfizer ad pushing COVID vaccinations last year, well past the time most Americans considered getting a shot.

Key Takeaways:

  • Donald Trump warned Taylor Swift not to endorse Joe Biden in the election.
  • Trump claimed his 2018 Music Modernization Act helped make Swift “so much money.”
  • The former president went on to say he likes Travis Kelce, though he “may be a liberal.”
